Lovely Japanese tea pot or chocolate pot. The item is in good condition with some wear from age and use, including wear to some of the gold detail. The lid seems to be slightly discolored, and there is a small slit on the top rim that appears to be pre glaze. Please look at the photos and be sure to zoom-in . The item is marked on the bottom. The chocolate pot stands 8 without the lid, 10 with the lid. It has a 5.25 diameter at its base. and measures 6.5 from handle to spout.
