What is CWU-45/P?
As the successor model to the MA-1, it is currently officially adopted by the US Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. It is a current model flight jacket for the intermediate zone (-10 to 10 degrees). As defined as Jacket Flyers Cold Weather , it is designed for winter and is thicker and more insulated than the CWU-36/P. It is characterized by its short length, rounded collar, large flap pockets on both sides, and UTILITY POCKET on the left arm. Its functionality and high level of completion make it a popular choice.
